LEADING WITH COURAGE℠ PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Honoring Those Who Lead With Courage
There are many leaders in small to mid-size organizations whose ability to inspire others goes unnoticed that we wanted to provide an opportunity for them to be recognized. The Leading With Courage Academy is launching the Leading With Courage Person Of The Year Awards to honor individuals who have visibly demonstrated some or all of the nine behaviors that define a Leader With Courage. By adopting these behaviors, they have elevated their organizations, employees, customers, and suppliers to the next level of performance.
2016 is the inaugural year of this premier award that recognizes those who lead with courage. Winners will not be limited to the men and women who are CEOs. Nominees can come from anywhere in an organization and the winners will be defined by their values, attitudes, and demonstrated practices instead of their titles. Nominees will be those who create enterprise value by making work fun, being open to new ideas, and motivating employees to routinely go beyond what's expected of them
About the nomination
Consider nominating executives, employees, clients, suppliers and advisors or partners. No self-nominations are allowed, but nominators can be from the same organization as the nominee.
A distinguished group of leaders will select three winners. They will be announced on Presidents Day, February 20, 2017, and be recognized at a reception that will be held in Chicago at the Metropolitan Club on the 67th floor of Willis Tower. We will also donate a total of $10,000 to the nonprofit organizations chosen by the Winner ($5,000), First Runner Up ($3,000) and Second Runner Up ($2,000).
